What’s with the music? Too loud…too distracting…sounds like the soundtrack on an old Cary Grant movie. Why do we need music playing when what is being said is so important? There are places in this audio where I can’t hear the words over the ‘background’ music…

Thanks for commenting and listening Vic. The show has music because it is in the radio tradition of Dickie Goodman (and Spike Jones, Dr. Demento, and Richard Foreman). "Donald Drumpf Theatre" is not a news program, but radio theatre, meant for each listener to come back with their own interpretation of the program. In this instance, it is not Cary Grant, but Jimmy Stewart in "Vertigo." Jon Stewart, in both his discussion with Heather Cox Richardson, and in his own weekly comedy segment, referenced "Vertigo" and the feeling of being on the edge of something about to happen. I am sorry if your listening experience was not what you wanted to be, but that is how this particular show is. Thanks again for listening!
