Riley, Ryan, and Tonko vote to table impeachment
Only 79 Democrats supported a vote on Trump bombing Iran without Congressional approval
The Hudson Valley Congressional delegation was united Tuesday, Republicans and Democrats alike, against voting on whether to impeach the president. Republicans Elise Stefanik and Michael Lawler and Democrats Paul Tonko, Josh Riley, and Pat Ryan all voted on June 24 against Rep. Al Green’s H.R. 537.

Radio World reports that there are now enough co-sponsors, 233, to pass “The AM Radio in Every Vehicle Act” in the U.S. House of Representatives. The proposal would mandate cars continue to be made with AM radio receivers. It is a battle between an industry that wants to retain their largest source of listenership, and therefore business, with another industry that wants to cut costs. In the Hudson Valley, Democrat Josh Riley and Republicans Elise Stefanik and Michael Lawler have signed on to the radio industry side as co-sponsors. (Democrat Paul Tonko, who gets donations from the National Association of Broadcasters and backs their crazy pirate radio bills, is oddly missing.) A vote would need to be taken in the House, and then the bill needs Senate and Presidential approval before their is an assurance of AM radio in new vehicles in the United States.
