PAULINE OLIVEROS
Sound artist Pauline Oliveros is the Hudson Valley’s most prominent voice. What Thomas Cole is to early American vistas of the Catskills, Pauline Oliveros is to the sound of the Hudson Valley in the late 20th Century and early 21st Century. She’s known even more worldwide for her concept of “Deep Listening.” This film debuted last year, and continues with screenings around the world.
